Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Dietitian II to join our team at Providence St. Patrick Hospital. As a key member of our Clinical Nutrition Services department, you will play a vital role in providing quality health care to our patients through the delivery of medical nutrition therapy, nutrition support, and nutrition education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in directing and supervising personnel in the Food and Nutrition department to ensure the provision of quality health care services.
  • Provide medical nutrition therapy, nutrition support, and nutrition education to patients in various settings, including ICU, floor units, and CVL.
  • Perform nutritional assessments and implement nutritional care plans, documenting all assessments and re-assessments in the computer medical record.
  • Attend multi-disciplinary rounds and care conferences to ensure effective communication and collaboration with healthcare teams.
  • Develop and present educational programs for physicians, nurses, dietitians, and other clinical staff on evidence-based practices in clinical nutrition.
  • Collaborate with dietetic interns from the Montana Dietetic Internship program, providing guidance and support in their clinical rotations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics or a related field.
  • Master's Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics or a related field (e.g., sports nutrition, exercise physiology, education).
  • Montana Nutritionist License within 6 months of hire.
  • National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialty upon hire.
