We are seeking a highly skilled Dietitian to join our team at Providence St. Patrick Hospital. As a Clinical Nutrition Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing quality health care to our patients through the delivery of nutritionally balanced and appetizing meals.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and supervise personnel in the Food and Nutrition department to ensure the provision of high-quality patient care.
- Provide medical nutrition therapy, nutrition support, and nutrition education to patients in various settings, including ICU and floor units.
- Perform nutritional assessments and implement care plans, documenting all re-assessments and follow-ups in the medical record.
- Attend multi-disciplinary rounds and care conferences to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and provide education to physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff on evidence-based practices in clinical nutrition.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Post-graduate internship accredited by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Montana Nutritionist License within 6 months of hire.
- National CDR Registered Dietitian certification upon hire.
- Experience in an acute care facility.
