As an Assistant Vice President, Senior Credit Analyst at First Western, you will be instrumental in assisting affluent clients in reaching their financial aspirations. You will collaborate closely with our Denver Tech Center team to provide comprehensive solutions that surpass client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Relationship Bankers by conducting underwriting and analysis for complex loan requests, particularly for higher-tier existing client segments.
- Engage with clients for document collection, coordinating loan applications, processing, approvals, and closings.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of Credit Analysts and Loan Associates.
- Oversee the general administration and upkeep of the loan portfolio.
- Monitor reports on overdue accounts, maturing loans, file exceptions, and covenant requirements.
- Help with loan closing documentation, client packets, loan renewals, and onboarding processes.
- Identify and secure new lending opportunities for current clients while introducing additional bank products to address client needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support new business initiatives with both existing and prospective clients.
- May manage a portfolio of more complex client relationships.
- Facilitate loan renewals and manage intricate lending requests.
- Primarily responsible for maintaining client relationships, including conducting annual loan reviews.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with advanced Excel capabilities.
- Experience with banking and credit software.
- Familiarity with CRM systems is preferred.
- Demonstrated initiative and follow-through.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Strong numerical skills.
Educational Background:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Experience Requirements:
5-7 years of experience in lending, underwriting, and/or credit analysis is required.
Licensure/Certification:
NMLS certification is required upon hire.

Compensation Range: $77,000 - $108,000/YR
