Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team at the Nephrology Clinical Research Center. As a Clinical Research Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the success of our clinical research studies, working closely with physicians, research staff, and study participants to ensure the smooth execution of studies from start-up to archiving of study records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with regulatory, financial, and logistical management of studies
  • Recruit and consent research participants, collect study data, and monitor participants throughout study participation
  • Prepare study documentation, ensure compliance with protocol guidelines and regulatory agency requirements, and communicate regularly with study investigators and monitors
  • Conduct scripted and non-scripted interviews, collect basic information, and plan and execute tasks
  • Organize and plan tasks, maintain attention to detail, and possess problem-solving skills
  • Obtain informed consent from study participants, maintain telephone and in-person contact, and collect data, maintain logs, and track participants
  • Process, prepare, and ship laboratory specimens
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree Required or equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or certifications
  • Experience: None for Clinical Research Coordinator 1, Non-Licensed; At least one year of clinical research experience for Clinical Research Coordinator 2, Non-Licensed; Minimum of 3 years of clinical research experience for Clinical Research Coordinator 3, Non-Licensed; At least seven years of clinical research experience for Clinical Research Coordinator 4, Non-Licensed
  • Licensure: Licensed to Practice in Clinical Profession such as Registered Nurse, Athletic Training, Pharmacology, Medical Technology, Physical Therapy, or Registered Respiratory Therapy
Preferred Experience:
  • Regulatory experience
  • Extensive experience with managing multiple clinical research studies simultaneously
  • Proficiency in computer/automated systems for data purposes
  • Effective use of Microsoft Office and Microsoft OneDrive
