Position Overview:
As a vital member of our healthcare team, the Certified Respiratory Therapist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality respiratory care to patients in need. This position is essential in ensuring the well-being of individuals through specialized therapeutic services.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine the appropriate type and frequency of respiratory treatments.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient diagnoses and physician directives.
  • Administer prescribed respiratory therapies and monitor patient responses to treatment.
  • Educate patients and their families about respiratory conditions and available community resources.
  • Maintain and calibrate respiratory equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Participate in emergency response situations, demonstrating a commitment to patient safety and care.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent experience.
  • Current certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS) and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
  • State licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.

Physical Requirements:
This role requires constant communication, standing, and walking, along with the ability to lift and move patients as necessary. The therapist must possess keen observational skills to monitor patient conditions effectively.
