We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at SSM Health. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients for appropriate respiratory care and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Administer prescribed respiratory therapies and monitor patient response.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent experience and education.
- Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
