Position Overview
Generations Healthcare is in search of a Clinical & Training Supervisor to oversee remote operations while traveling to our various Behavioral Health facilities. This role is pivotal in providing leadership and guidance to our team of professionals dedicated to delivering comprehensive mental health services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily activities of assigned staff, including Behavioral Health Clinicians and trainees, ensuring the effective implementation of program duties.
- Deliver clinical supervision to graduate interns in psychology, counseling, or social work, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and professional practices.
- Design and execute training initiatives for trainees, encompassing case discussions, educational training, and career development.
- Conduct performance assessments for interns, providing constructive feedback to foster their professional advancement and skill enhancement.
- Maintain precise and timely documentation to support administrative functions.
- Cultivate and manage a training program for students within the facilities, fostering strong partnerships with educational institutions to enhance mental health support for residents.
Required Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid and unrestricted license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Professional Counselor in California.
- A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience in a mental health environment, ideally within an academic setting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in various therapeutic modalities, with a strong ability to engage with a diverse student demographic.
- Experience or certification in specialized fields such as trauma-informed care, substance abuse, or multicultural counseling is preferred.
