Job Title: Construction Foreman

A leading construction company in San Diego, California, is seeking a skilled Construction Foreman to join its team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Job Duties:
  • Manage and supervise construction crews to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Coordinate with project managers to plan and schedule construction activities.
  • Conduct site inspections to identify potential safety hazards and implement corrective measures.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Train and mentor new employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in underground construction, preferably with San Diego Gas & Electric.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction equipment, materials, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, work in adverse weather conditions, and perform physical labor.
Special Skills:
  • Advanced knowledge of site development, structural underground civil gas/electric experience, and ability to read plans and perform layouts.
  • Ability to utilize electronic devices, such as IPads and computers, for administrative tasks.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
