401k with matching contributions Job Overview We are in search of a skilled and committed SCADA Engineer to become part of our vibrant team. This position offers an exhilarating opportunity to operate in a highly technical and demanding role within the manufacturing sector. In this capacity, you will be tasked with the design, development, and upkeep of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.

You will collaborate closely with fellow engineers and operators to guarantee that our systems are performing optimally and comply with the latest industry standards and regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, configuring, and maintaining SCADA systems for process oversight and monitoring.
  • Creating and executing project plans, encompassing design specifications, cost assessments, and timelines.
  • Offering technical support and troubleshooting for SCADA systems, including diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and system challenges.
  • Ensuring data integrity, backup systems, and effective data management across SCADA platforms.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate SCADA systems with other operational technology and IT infrastructures.
  • Conducting regular system tests and inspections to identify and rectify potential issues.
  • Staying informed about the latest SCADA technologies and industry trends, and recommending system enhancements.
  • Providing training and guidance to operators and other personnel on the utilization of SCADA systems.
  • Ensuring adherence to all relevant industry standards and regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable role, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of SCADA systems, including design principles, hardware and software components, and data management methodologies.
  • Proficient in computerized process control and automation technologies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to diagnose and resolve intricate system issues.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects concurrently and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical personnel.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to identify potential issues before they escalate.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations pertaining to SCADA systems.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
