Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all purchasing activities for assigned categories.
  • Manage requests for quotes and bids.
  • Support our sales team by sourcing products from established suppliers.

  • Handle RFQ processes for all commodities.
  • Address vendor payment concerns with the Finance team to ensure compliance with financial commitments.

  • Update order information in the system database regarding expected delivery dates, costs, etc.
  • Offer guidance and mentorship to junior members of the purchasing team.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process enhancements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Fundamental procurement skills, evidenced by certification (APICS, SPSM) preferred but not mandatory.
  • Understanding of supply chain concepts and purchasing procedures.
Educational Background:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field is preferred.
