Job Overview

AESC US LLC is seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting functions. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with established accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage general accounting functions including Receivables, Payables, Accruals, Prepayments, fixed assets, and lease accounting.
  • Review financial statements and related reporting schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Administer approved accounting practices to guarantee reliable financial information for operational effectiveness.
  • Enhance SAP systems and accounting processes, focusing on operational efficiency.
What You Will Do
  • Streamline accounting operations related to Receivables, Payables, fixed assets, and General Ledger.
  • Oversee US financial statement records and account reconciliations.
  • Manage annual, quarterly, and monthly close processes for US entities.
  • Evaluate lease agreements and amortization schedules in accordance with IFRS 16/ASC 842.
  • Lead initiatives to improve the accuracy of accounting records and close timelines.
  • Ensure compliance and accuracy of accounting transactions across the organization.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during audits of accounting procedures and reports.
  • Work with the Internal Controls team to conduct periodic self-audits and enhance process controls.
  • Plan and prioritize organizational activities to meet deadlines and objectives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; CPA and experience with a Big 4 firm preferred.
  • Proficiency in SAP systems is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS or US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience in accounting operations within a manufacturing environment is required.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
