AESC US LLC is seeking a dedicated **Corporate Accounting Manager** to oversee essential accounting functions. This role involves managing general accounting activities and ensuring compliance with established accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and enhance the accounting operations related to Receivables, Payables, and General Ledger.
- Review and maintain US financial statement records and account reconciliations.
- Manage annual, quarterly, and monthly closing processes for US entities.
- Evaluate lease agreements and amortization schedules in accordance with IFRS 16/ASC 842.
- Lead initiatives to improve accounting processes and close timelines.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of accounting transactions and processes across the organization.
- Collaborate with external auditors during the audit of accounting procedures and reports.
- Work with the Internal Controls team to conduct periodic self-audits and enhance process efficiency.
- Plan and coordinate activities to meet deadlines and organizational goals.
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; CPA and experience with a Big 4 firm preferred.
- Proficiency in SAP systems is essential.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience in accounting operations within a manufacturing setting is required.
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
