Position Summary

The Senior Financial Accountant will play a crucial role in managing financial operations, ensuring the integrity of the general ledgers, and preparing comprehensive financial reports for the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and track prepaid expenses, ensuring precise amortization and monthly reconciliation of accounts.
  • Manage healthcare professional-related invoices and generate necessary reports.
  • Prepare accruals in preparation for month-end financial close.
  • Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Analyze monthly balance sheet activities, investigating variances and fluctuations in assigned accounts.
  • Compile period-end FLUX reports and other essential financial documentation.
  • Prepare allocation journal entries for the month-end closing process.
  • Support accounting operations during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain accounting desktop procedures.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and adapt to flexible hours as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support various Finance functions.
Qualifications
  • Self-motivated and well-organized with a keen attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Excel and other financial software.
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative and innovative workplace culture.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and applicable accounting standards.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility in response to changing requirements.
