Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Pain Specialist of America LLC. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare for daily clinic appointments, ensuring all necessary reports are available for review by healthcare providers.
- Clean and prepare examination rooms prior to patient appointments.
- Room patients according to scheduling criteria, obtain vital signs, and record patient information.
- Obtain urine and blood serum specimens, package, and submit to the lab following protocol.
- Run outstanding order reports for clinic follow-up and prepare medication refills for healthcare providers.
- Assist with patient calls, maintain sample logs, and perform additional tasks assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
- A minimum of one year of experience in the medical field.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- $17-23/hour depending on experience.
- PTO, medical, dental, vision insurance, 401k with company match, short and long-term disability, HSA, FSA, life insurance, and 11 paid holidays per year.
