The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Office Medical Director to lead our team in delivering exceptional patient care and driving clinical excellence. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a patient panel with a diverse range of needs, conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits, and treating patients in-office or in testing centers. You will also be responsible for guiding and supporting the professional development of our providers, partnering with our Office Manager to create a collaborative and positive office community, and managing communication between our office and other districts, regional, and central teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs
  • Conduct a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits
  • Treat patients in-office or in testing centers, as well as conduct occasional tele-health visits
  • Guide and support the professional development of our providers
  • Partner with our Office Manager to create a collaborative and positive office community
  • Manage communication between our office and other districts, regional, and central teams
Requirements
  • Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program
  • Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting, or have completed a residency program in the last 5 years
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year managing a team of providers
  • Board certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of your One Medical start date
  • State licensed in Texas, obtained before your One Medical start date
