Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed medical providers with patient exams and treatments
  • Conduct patient interviews to obtain medical information and vital signs
  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures, ensuring proper consent forms are obtained
  • Administer medications as directed by a physician, following safety protocols
  • Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
  • Explain treatment procedures, medications, and instructions to patients
  • Assist with surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile field
  • Monitor patient conditions and notify providers and RNs of any signs of distress
  • Perform routine laboratory tests and sample analyses
  • Document all procedures accurately and in a timely manner
Requirements
  • One year of experience in a medical setting, preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and medications
  • Detail-oriented, professional attitude, and reliable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow or provide verbal and written instructions
Working Conditions
