Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage contracts and contracts team staff supporting our Line of Business.
  • Coach and mentor less experienced contract personnel.
  • Lead a team of professionals through the entire contracting lifecycle from solicitation to contract close-out.

As a Contract Management Professional, you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing complex solicitations and preparing specialized/non-routine proposal responses in conjunction with the proposal team.
  • Reviewing and approving contractual documents for adherence to customer specifications and requirements, compliance with Terms and Conditions, applicable FAR/DFARS clauses, special provisions, and adherence to company policy and procedures.
  • Drafting and/or reviewing and redlining customer agreements, negotiating complex agreements, including master agreements, with the objective of protecting the company's interests.
  • Developing and executing negotiation strategies consistent with goals and objectives.
  • Advising management and program teams of contractual rights, obligations, intellectual property protections, organizational conflicts of interest, and general risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Supporting corporate objectives through the development and maintenance of contracting policies and processes that provide governance of contracting practices and guidance on contracting terms and conditions.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Contract Management Professional who can:

  • Analyze and track contract compliance in conjunction with other functions.
  • Lead as a subject matter expert in Federal Acquisition Regulations, with emphasis in acquisitions governed by Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Products and Services and Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation.
  • Interface directly with Government contracting officials, prime contractor procurement representatives, and other customer representatives.
  • Interface with Contracts team members, Legal, Program Management, Capture, Finance, Pricing, Proposal, Property, Quality, Engineering, and other functional staff as required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 12 years of directly related experience in Contract Administration/Business Management/Finance role with direct Government Defense and Prime customers.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with demonstrated ability to directly and effectively manage contracts professionals.
  • Experience with USG, Prime, International, and Commercial contracts.
  • Experience with standard defense contract types such as Cost Reimbursable (CR), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Cost Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF), Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Materials (T&M), incentive-type contracts, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), etc.
  • Familiarity with US Government regulations (FAR/DFARs) required, with emphasis in acquisitions governed by Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Products and Services and Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation.
  • Provide strong analytical, financial, and negotiation skills.
  • Must exemplify a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, & Outlook) as well as Adobe Acrobat required.
  • Bachelor's in business, Management, or other related field(s).
  • US Government security clearance, Secret or higher (OR the ability to obtain a secret clearance within 1 year of employment).
  • US Citizenship required.
