About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Director to lead our senior living community in Torrance, California. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving resident satisfaction, and ensuring the highest level of care and services for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the community, including financial performance, regulatory compliance, and associate relations.
  • Develop and execute the business plan, driving revenue growth and profitability while maintaining high-quality resident experiences.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and associates, fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to drive sales results and achieve occupancy targets.
  • Ensure the community maintains appropriate staffing levels, adhering to applicable legal requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce turnover and increase retention, analyzing trends and making data-driven decisions.
  • Administer resident satisfaction surveys, working with department leaders and the district team to address opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee resident services, including admission processes, healthcare management, and maintenance of resident documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies and applicable regulations, maintaining a high degree of financial acumen.
  • Drive sales and marketing efforts, collaborating with the community sales leader to meet or exceed occupancy or revenue targets.
  • Identify and build positive relationships with local influencers and professionals, raising the community's profile and representing the Company in social and civic affairs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required; minimum of three years related in operational leadership experience.
  • Valid administrator license in states where required; valid driver's license and access to a private vehicle for business use.
  • Strong analytic skills, leadership ability, and decision-making skills, with a high degree of financial acumen.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks.
What We Offer

Brookdale Senior Living offers a competitive salary range of $109,800.00 - $139,870.00 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, life insurance, and retirement plans. We also offer tuition reimbursement, pet insurance, adoption reimbursement benefits, and a variety of associate discounts.

This is an incentive-based position, which may include bonuses, incentive, or commission plans. Veterans, transitioning active duty military personnel, and military spouses are encouraged to apply. Brookdale also offers to advance fees for naturalization (Form N-400) application costs, up to $725, less applicable taxes and withholding, for qualified associates who have been with us for at least a year.
