About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at Marriott International Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the daily kitchen operations and ensuring the highest standards of quality and service are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Culinary Team
    • Supervise and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
    • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
    • Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
  • Manage Kitchen Operations
    • Oversee the preparation and presentation of menu items, ensuring consistency and quality.
    • Develop and implement efficient kitchen systems and procedures to minimize waste and maximize productivity.
    • Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure Exceptional Customer Service
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Monitor and address customer complaints and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and high standards of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain Culinary Standards and Responsibilities
    • Develop and implement effective food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and high standards of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and Conduct Human Resource Activities
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of cooks and kitchen staff.
    • Monitor and address employee performance and conduct, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and high standards of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a luxury hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving business growth.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
