Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Engineer to join our team at Innovapptive. As a key member of our revenue generation team, you will be responsible for delivering thought leadership to companies throughout the sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist sales personnel in qualifying enterprise customer needs and performing pre-demo needs analysis
  • Demonstrate the product, both standard and tailored to prospects and existing customers, both onsite and via web conference
  • Capture prospect/customer requirements and work with sales to write solution proposals detailing how Innovapptive's solutions will address business needs
  • Create necessary documentation, presentations, and product demonstrations to teach clients about Innovapptive functionality and the value proposition
  • Participate in one or more strategic accounts either in support or lead
  • Provide mentoring and training to peers and other colleagues in the organization
  • Scope and deliver Proof of Concept/Pilot engagements with prospects
  • Respond to Request for Information/Proposal documents
  • Support marketing events – user conferences, trade shows, webinars etc.
  • Stay current on competitive analyses and understand differentiators between the company and its competitors
  • Conduct transition briefings – communicate commitments, expectations etc in preparation for deployment
  • Act as the Innovapptive subject matter expert at executive briefings/marketing events
  • Understand sales process as it relates to Innovapptive's overall strategies and objectives
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 7 years of strong pre-sales or solution engineering experience in enterprise asset management or supply chain
  • Strong client-facing communication skills, with the ability to explain product functionality, technical design and limitations at the client's executive level as well as to developers or other client experts
  • Strong sales orientation
  • Attention to detail, plus analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
