MRI Technologist PRN

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist PRN to join our team at Envision Radiology. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform MRI procedures according to protocol and age-specific needs, including patient preparation and maintenance of a safe and comfortable environment.
- Interface with patients to obtain medical history, provide instructions, and explain procedures to ensure optimal image quality.
- Review patient charts for missed clinical information and screen patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, and other relevant factors.
- Obtain prior films/exams as needed and perform high-quality scans to submit to radiologists for interpretation.
- Transfer images to other locations as needed and coordinate scan protocols with radiologists.
- Maintain and regularly inspect equipment, reporting any quality concerns or equipment failures to the Lead Technologist or Center/Area Manager.
- Interface with the Lead Technologist and Center/Area Manager regarding departmental concerns and other matters.
- Two plus years' experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) - preferred
- Ability to educate patients on procedures being performed
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver, and a team player
- Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to continuously 'exceed' company and customer expectations
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification with Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or current American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
- Current license from state medical board (if applicable)
- Current CPR certification
