Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Specialist II PRN to join our team at HCA HealthONE Rose. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing angiography, special procedures, and radiological diagnostic procedures/exams. Your expertise will be essential in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate IR equipment and prepare the room with necessary equipment and supplies for exams/procedures.
  • Maintain sterile technique and field.
  • Interact with patients, medical staff, physicians, and other hospital personnel in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide care to assigned patients and ensure a safe patient care environment.
  • Comply with Staff Expectations, maintain technical skills, IR competencies, and use equipment to minimize hazards and maximize patient safety.
  • Assist in collecting data and conducting quality control on equipment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the IR Supervisor/CNC.
Requirements
  • Technologist: Current ARRT (R)(CVIR)(VI) license and BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • RN: Current licensure in the State of Colorado as an RN, or current active multistate RN license, and BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited radiography program or nursing school.
  • Experience: 1 year diagnostic radiography experience, 1 year in hospital angiographic interventional experience preferred.
