Job Description

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure the optimal performance of our facilities and equipment.
  • Manage and supervise a team of maintenance personnel to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all facilities and equipment are properly maintained and upgraded.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure the health and safety of all employees and visitors.
  • Manage and maintain all facilities and equipment, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, and plumbing systems.
  • Develop and implement energy conservation plans to reduce energy consumption and costs.
  • Manage and maintain all maintenance records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure that all maintenance personnel are properly trained and certified.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all facilities and equipment are properly maintained and upgraded.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Facility/Management, Maintenance Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 8 years of experience in industrial facilities or production maintenance related work.
  • 5 years of progressive career experience in industrial, pharmaceutical, biomedical, or research & development facility maintenance.
  • Ability to pass a medical evaluation for respirator use and be able to successfully complete a fit test for several types of respirators.
  • Ability to obtain a security access badge at our client's location.
  • Ability to read and understand information contained in a variety of documents or displayed on a computer screen.
  • Ability to obtain an appropriate driver's license issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles, as requested.
Preferred Requirements
  • Technical degree preferred.
  • Experience working in a GMP or similar regulated environment such as hospitals, biomedical or pharmaceutical campuses.
  • Ability to read and understand repair manuals, specifications, drawings, and schematic diagrams.
  • Experience working with heavy industrial or manufacturing plant steam systems, centrifugal chillers, air handling units, turbines, boilers, cooling towers, air compressors, air dryers, heat exchangers, exhaust systems, pneumatic controls, and building automation control systems.
  • Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS); EAMS experience is a plus.
  • Experience interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
