Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team at MyRegistry. As a dynamic and passionate team, we are driven by a commitment to excellence and are looking for someone to help us deliver exceptional results.

The ideal candidate will have experience in software development projects, preferably within a startup environment. They will be adept at managing multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage software development projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Develop project plans and timelines; monitor progress and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues promptly to keep projects on track.
  • Coordinate resources and collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and productivity.
  • Implement project management best practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and post-mortems to capture lessons learned and improve future projects.
  • Foster a positive team environment that encourages creativity and collaboration.
  • Proactively manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Anticipate and address potential challenges, making necessary adjustments to maintain project progress.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting achievements, risks, and upcoming milestones.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including plans, schedules, and issue logs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices within the project management team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a software development context; experience in a startup is a plus.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure, DevOps) and methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and lifecycle.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) are preferred but not required.
