Software Project Manager

The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high standards of quality. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and marketing, to drive project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage software development projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Develop project plans and timelines; monitor progress and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines and objectives.
- Facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues promptly to keep projects on track.
- Coordinate resources and collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and productivity.
- Implement project management best practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency.
- Conduct regular project reviews and post-mortems to capture lessons learned and improve future projects.
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages creativity and collaboration.
- Proactively manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Anticipate and address potential challenges, making necessary adjustments to maintain project progress.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting achievements, risks, and upcoming milestones.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including plans, schedules, and issue logs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices within the project management team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a software development context; experience in a startup is a plus.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure, DevOps) and methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
- Strong understanding of software development processes and lifecycle.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) are preferred but not required.
