Job Summary

The Manager of Interventional Radiology will provide strategic leadership and direction to the IR department, fostering a collaborative and cohesive work environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Recruiting, training, and evaluating team members to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Implementing strategies to enhance team satisfaction, engagement, and retention.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including State and National Accrediting Agencies, and Cooper's policies and corporate compliance standards.
  • Collaborating with other departments, physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care and optimize workflow.
  • Participating in interdepartmental meetings and committees to drive collaboration, address challenges, and improve overall patient and staff experiences.
  • Implementing and enforcing departmental policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5 years of experience as an IR technologist.
  • 3 years of experience in IR supervisory roles.
  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • A NJ DEP license.
  • Current ARRT - American Registry Radiology certification.
  • Current NJ-BLS Certification (Basic Life Support).
