**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced District General Manager to lead our retail tax offices and drive business growth in a geographic district. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for inspiring operational excellence, leading a best-in-class team, and establishing strategic sales plans to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Visit offices in your district to ensure operational excellence and continuous business growth by leading a team and establishing and maintaining strategic sales plans, prioritization, and project management driving operational excellence.
  • Business Growth: Accelerate business growth through the implementation of a business plan, marketing, and identification of growth opportunities.
  • Talent Management: Recruit and onboard high-caliber, top-performing seasonal tax office talent and leadership for key district positions.
  • Productivity and Profitability: Efficiently manage labor to ensure maximum productivity and profitability.
  • Performance Management: Lead and support office leaders with end-to-end performance management of office-level associates, which includes onsite presence.
  • Culture and Engagement: As the champion of our culture, you will ensure all office associates are focused on connecting with our clients to provide a welcoming and personalized service.
  • Leadership Development: Foster a culture that values critical thinking and problem-solving, and encourage constructive feedback, engagement, inclusion, and diversity at all levels.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience.
  • Work Experience: 5 years minimum related work experience.
  • Skills: Demonstrated effective interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills that apply to all levels of the organization. Strong customer relationship skills with the desire and proven ability to work in a diverse work setting. Effective management of field personnel to include a working knowledge of organizational planning techniques, including the development of goals and objectives, staffing, and work standards.
  • Technical Skills: Understanding and previous use of a Windows-based computer system. Willingness to work irregular schedules. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze data, plan, and coordinate multiple projects and work initiatives while meeting deadlines.
  • Certifications: Meet IRS e-file Suitability requirements as defined by the IRS Publication 3112.
