Job Summary

The Quarantine and Isolation Assistant Manager will play a vital role in supporting the Quarantine and Isolation Manager in maintaining a safe and inclusive living-learning community. This position will be responsible for coordinating daily operations, managing digital communication, and providing support to students in quarantine or isolation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the daily operation and organization of the quarantine and isolation area
  • Coordinate incoming information from various sources, including University Health Services, Contact Tracing, and other relevant departments
  • Initiate contact with students to transition them into quarantine or isolation space
  • Manage digital communication and serve as a resource for students during the check-in process
  • Manage the placement of students into quarantine or isolation space
  • Provide indirect supervision and/or training to quarantine and isolation coordinators
  • Assist in promoting the safety and security of residents
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with various departments, including Housing and Food Services, Police and Public Safety, Student Affairs, and Academic Affairs

Requirements

This is a limited-term staff appointment funded for up to six months from date of hire. Typically requires a Master's Degree or higher plus one year of related experience.
