About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team at ALS Environmental. As an Administrative Coordinator, you will provide general administrative support to our office management team and maintain front office responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the office management team, including maintaining front office responsibilities.
  • Track employee work hours in a spreadsheet for payroll submission to corporate offices.
  • Track technician experience hours in a spreadsheet and update certification forms.
  • Match purchase orders to vendor bills for accuracy and submit to corporate Accounts Payable for processing.
  • Purchase routine office supplies and monitor inventory, negotiating pricing and delivery options with vendors as needed.
  • Assist staff with the preparation and submission of monthly expense reports.
  • Draft and edit general correspondence with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Assist staff with researching and booking domestic and international travel.
  • Assist with new hire paperwork and the corporate on-boarding process.
  • Perform general filing and retention duties.
  • Pick up and distribute company mail.
  • Receive and process deliveries at the front desk.
  • Ensure the reception area is maintained in a professional and courteous manner, handling visitors and employees accordingly.
  • Professionally answer telephone calls, routing callers to the appropriate individual or taking detailed messages.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
  • 3-5 years' experience in an office environment.
  • Knowledge of computer processes and software, including MS Windows and MS Office package.
  • Ability to speak and hear clearly while communicating with visitors and staff.
