Bakery Manager Job Description

At Sprouts Farmers Market, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Manager to lead our Bakery Department. As a key member of our store team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the highest quality products, exceptional customer service, and a positive store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Quality and Consistency: Manage the daily output of bakery products, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate a team of bakery staff, providing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to ensure they reach their full potential.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, track stock, and manage the bakery's budget to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Store Operations: Collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure seamless store operations, including scheduling, labor management, and customer service.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' retail grocery experience, preferably in a bakery or food service environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide a positive and welcoming experience for customers.
