We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Bakery Manager to join our team at Sprouts Farmers Market. Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that all bakery products are of high quality and presented in an attractive manner.
  • Bakery Operations: Assist the bakery manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit, including ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the bakery team.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the bakery team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals, while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels, including ordering and receiving products, to ensure that the bakery department is always stocked with fresh and high-quality products.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all bakery products meet our high standards of quality and freshness, and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Store Operations: Assist with store operations, including unloading and sorting store deliveries, operating and maintaining deli equipment, and ensuring that the bakery department is clean and organized.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 2 years of retail grocery experience and 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, ability to lead and motivate a team, strong inventory management skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
