Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled BAS Project Manager to oversee and ensure the successful execution of intricate DDC control system projects within commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project planning, execution, and implementation as assigned.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to create project submittals and drawing packages.
  • Manage project timelines in coordination with the Project Management Team.
  • Regularly update and maintain project schedules.
  • Report project progress to the assigned Senior Project Manager.
  • Submit weekly reports to management.
  • Organize and maintain project contract documentation.
  • Oversee project submittals for approval and manage the approval process.
  • Identify potential project issues proactively and implement corrective actions.
  • Communicate cost impacts, change orders, and RFIs to the Project Coordinator in a timely manner.
  • Review Bill of Materials and submittals for accuracy.
  • Coordinate installation efforts with subcontractors and address installation challenges.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to the project team.
  • Review, load, and test system databases.
  • Oversee project commissioning and startup activities.
  • Prepare project closure reports and manage project closeout tasks.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, subcontractors, and trade personnel.
  • Adhere to company safety standards, prioritizing the safety of employees and subcontractors.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as necessary.
  • Stay informed on product installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
  • Provide technical support and basic training to customers.
  • Assist technicians and the project management team with technical training and qualifications.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in HVAC and building automation systems, or equivalent.
  • In-depth understanding of programming requirements for DDC systems.
  • Proficient in interpreting blueprints, project plans, and technical documents.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of peripheral device operation, installation, and servicing.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement cost-effective solutions.
  • Advanced computer proficiency.
  • Capability to provide effective technical and managerial training.
