Job Summary

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team. This role will provide outreach, project management, and e-Link membership management, as well as facilitation through planning, participation, and communication among all participating agencies and team members.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project leadership and management, with experience in planning, financial management, network design and support, interactive video, health information, communication, and related fields. They will also possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to understand the entire scope of the project.

This is a full-time position that requires some in/out of state travel. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with the Assistant e-Link Director of IDHI to support and monitor e-Link Network member sites, outreach initiatives, and project task lists.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely communication with stakeholders, managing programs and projects, and producing accurate and timely reporting of program status. They will also identify trends and monitor key access and financial metrics, developing action plans to correct deficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outreach, project management, and e-Link membership management
  • Facilitate planning, participation, and communication among all participating agencies and team members
  • Manage programs and projects, including creating and maintaining scope, budget, and forecasting
  • Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status
  • Identify trends and monitor key access and financial metrics
  • Develop action plans to correct deficiencies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Health Management, or related field
  • PLUS six (6) years of management experience, planning, financial management, network design and support, interactive video, health information, communication, and/or related experience
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Project leadership and management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business, Education, Health Management, or related field
  • Experience working with datacenter solutions
  • Interactive video experience
