Position Overview

The Automotive Service Coordinator engages with clients to accurately document vehicle issues and arrange for automotive repair services with the technical team. The role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire necessary parts for repairs and input all relevant data into the Fleet database for precise billing.
  • Respond to incoming service inquiries.
  • Organize and manage service appointments.
  • Monitor repair progress and keep clients informed.
  • Perform errands as required (e.g., picking up parts, delivering materials, transporting vehicles).
  • Deliver parts and assist mechanics as directed.
  • Fulfill additional tasks as assigned by supervisors and technicians.
  • Provide transportation for clients as necessary.
  • Engage with clients and visitors in a professional, courteous, and solution-oriented manner.
  • Support the maintenance of the inventory management system.
  • Effectively prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications

To excel in this position, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following qualifications are indicative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required:
  • Valid and current FL Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Prior experience as an automotive service advisor is highly preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate technical issues.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
Education and Experience
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with a minimum of one year of relevant experience required.
Certificates and Licenses
  • Valid Driver's License.
