The Colorado Judicial Branch is a premier state government agency focused on state trial courts and offender probation. We are seeking ambitious individuals to become valued public servants and future leaders.

We are looking for applicants who want to contribute to making the Judicial Branch the "employer of choice" in Colorado. In return, you will gain valuable experience with a progressive organization known as one of the top judicial systems in the nation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Write legal reports such as warrants, summons, terminations, extensions, and special reports.
  • Shadow and mentor with Probation Officers in different types of caseloads to receive a well-rounded view of various populations within probation.
  • Attend Court hearings and attend trainings.

Our hours of operation are Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and can be flexible with your school/work schedule. Interns must agree to and pass a criminal background check. This position is unpaid, but we offer a valuable learning experience.

Requirements
  • Must agree to and pass a criminal background check.
  • Available to intern approximately 10 hours per week.
