Radiation Therapist

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the safe and accurate administration of radiation therapy treatments.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists
- Maintain and perform quality assurance checks on equipment
- Manage inventory of department supplies and perform administrative quality assurance checks
- Provide daily patient care and education, involving patients and their families in care decisions
- Monitor patient physical and physiological responses to treatment and refer patients for appropriate management as needed
- Valid Massachusetts State License in Radiation Therapy
- Valid ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
- Valid BLS certification
- Proficient technical knowledge and skill set, including efficient knowledge of equipment operation and troubleshooting
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, staff, and other hospital personnel
