Radiation Therapist

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the safe and accurate administration of radiation therapy treatments.
Key Responsibilities- Administer radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely, monitoring and reporting any treatment variances or inconsistencies.
- Document all treatment delivery information in the electronic medical record (EMR) and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with the radiation oncology team to develop new techniques and resolve clinical problems.
- Participate in quality assurance programs to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
- Provide exceptional patient care and education, involving patients and their families in care decisions and maintaining confidentiality and modesty.
- Valid Massachusetts State License in Radiation Therapy.
- Valid ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy, obtained within 3 months of employment.
- Valid BLS certification.
- Proficient in the use of Radiation Oncology Information Systems and software, including ARIA, EPIC, ExacTrac, and Eclipse.
