Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Brigham and Women's Hospital. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality radiation therapy treatment to patients with cancer. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver radiation therapy treatment to patients with cancer, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Conduct daily maintenance and quality assurance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting understanding of treatment options and outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in radiation therapy technology and treatment techniques.
- Valid Massachusetts State License in Radiation Therapy.
- Valid ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy.
- Valid BLS certification.
This is a per diem position working at Brigham and Women's Hospital in South Weymouth, MA. The successful candidate will be required to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
