Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Mechanic to join our team at Wood plc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plant equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, operate, and maintain plant equipment, including natural gas and liquids separation and filtration systems, turbines, and compressors.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring safe operation.
  • Collaborate with instrumentation and electrical technicians, plant operators, and other teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance and operating procedures to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in the construction of the facility and contribute to the development of plant maintenance and operating procedures.
Requirements
  • Broad knowledge of equipment maintenance and operations, with a proven track record as a leader.
  • Ability to work effectively in a rotational schedule, with night call-out responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interface with various stakeholders.
  • Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe working environment.
