Job Summary

VetJobs is seeking a highly skilled Plant Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our gas plant.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain gas plant equipment, including natural gas and liquids separation, condensate stabilization, and turbine power generation.
  • Monitor and control plant processes, including amine treating, TEG Glycol and Mole Sieve dehydration, and CO2 compression, treating, and dehydration.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment, including valves, instrumentation, meters, pumps, and tanks.
  • Collaborate with plant technicians, engineers, control room, management, and safety teams to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
  • Participate in the design, construction, and commissioning of new plant equipment and processes.
  • Develop and implement plant processes and procedures to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as chemical engineering or process technology.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in gas plant operations or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of gas plant operations, including process control and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to plant locations.
