Your Role:

The Front Office Coordinator is responsible for welcoming, guiding, and scheduling patients and visitors. This position acts as a vital link between patients and our healthcare team. Availability: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities.
  • Preferred: Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical reception role.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish, with excellent grammar and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic computer operations.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls professionally and courteously.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and follow up on rescheduling and missed appointments.
  • Screen and direct incoming calls effectively.
  • Receive and relay messages through various communication methods.
  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, directing them to the appropriate areas.
  • Facilitate patient check-in and check-out processes using the EMR system.
  • Collect and process co-payments and other payments, ensuring accurate end-of-day reconciliation.
  • Verify patient insurance information prior to service delivery.
  • Update medical records and computer systems with new patient information.
  • Sort and distribute mail, medical records, and other correspondence to relevant departments.
  • Participate in staff meetings and educational sessions.
  • Maintain a positive, respectful, and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
