Key Responsibilities:

As a School Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA), you will collaborate closely with a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver essential support in speech and language therapy. Your duties will encompass:

  • Assisting in the execution of tailored treatment plans.
  • Conducting therapy sessions under the guidance of a licensed SLP.
  • Monitoring and documenting student progress.
  • Working in partnership with educators, parents, and other professionals to provide cohesive support for students.
  • Preparing materials and resources for therapy sessions.
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
  • Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA).
  • Experience with school-aged children is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities.
