Job Summary:

As a Paramedic with Acadian Ambulance Service, you will provide advanced life support care to patients in emergency situations. You will work as part of a team to assess patients, administer medications, and provide medical interventions to ensure the best possible outcomes. Your expertise will be essential in providing critical care to patients in need.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine the best course of treatment.
  • Administer medications and provide medical interventions as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies.
Requirements:
  • National and/or State certification as an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic.
  • Current CPR certification as established by the American Heart Association.
  • Current ACLS certification as established by the American Heart Association.
  • Valid driver's license determined by appropriate state requirements.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate professionally and effectively.
Work Environment:

As a Paramedic with Acadian Ambulance Service, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are the same. You will be exposed to a variety of patients and situations, and will need to be able to think critically and make quick decisions to ensure the best possible outcomes.
