Position Overview

As a Staff Validation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems. Your expertise will contribute to the development and execution of comprehensive validation strategies.

What You Bring
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Experience: Over 8 years of experience in System Validation, demonstrating a strong track record in the field.
  • Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems, including debugging skills using Windows System Event logs and diagnostic tools such as the Windows ADK.
  • Unix/Linux Knowledge: A foundational understanding of Unix/Linux systems.
  • PowerShell Skills: Proficient in the use, development, and modification of Microsoft PowerShell scripts.
  • Virtualization Experience: Familiarity with datacenter and server virtualization technologies, including VMware ESX, XEN, and Hyper-V.
  • Server Management: Experience in managing Windows server setups, including debugging and testing processes.
  • Test Planning: Knowledgeable in creating effective test plans to ensure system integrity.
  • Architecture Knowledge: Understanding of contemporary server and storage architectures and components.
  • Computer Architecture: Familiarity with modern computer architecture, including AMD and Client processors, GPU acceleration, BMC, BIOS, PCIe, DDR4, SATA, NVMe, etc.
  • Hardware Knowledge: Working knowledge of standard server and workstation hardware, storage arrays, storage networking, and networking protocols.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams and levels of management.
