Education Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related field in Science, Engineering, or Mathematics is required. Additionally, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is necessary, or a Master's degree accompanied by 3 years of pertinent experience. Experience in Agile methodologies is preferred.

Clearance Requirement:
Candidates must be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance at the time of hire. Selected applicants will undergo a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship is mandatory due to the nature of the work performed within our facilities.

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a Systems Integration and Test (I&T) Engineering Lead at General Dynamics Mission Systems, you will spearhead a cross-functional team tasked with the planning, execution, and reporting of both informal and formal qualification tests.

- Leading test teams through comprehensive planning, execution, and reporting.
- Coordinating efforts among large teams across various disciplines (HW/SW/Systems) and with program leadership.
- Developing both informal and formal test procedures based on customer specifications.
- Ensuring requirements traceability and breakdown from a testing perspective.
- Assigning appropriate test methods and designing test cases and procedures in alignment with lower-level and customer requirements.
- Formulating test strategies and procedures that adhere to customer specifications and military standards such as MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-461, and MIL-STD-704.
- Experience in supporting critical milestones such as SRR, PDR, CDR, and TRR throughout the developmental cycle.
