Position Summary:

We are seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to facilitate the integration of airborne systems with RADAR and ELINT payloads. This role encompasses project leadership, requirements analysis, design innovation, quality assurance, and comprehensive project documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Assume technical leadership for large-scale projects, coordinate and integrate tasks, and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Requirements Analysis: Design, develop, and execute engineering processes, collect and assess reliability data, and establish technical specifications.
  • Design Innovation: Create engineering designs, engage in design evaluations, investigate sensor technologies, and spearhead the development of data architecture.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee requirements verification, conduct technical assessments, support production and testing phases, and develop prototypes.
  • Comprehensive Documentation: Lead the creation of intricate written materials, including engineering schematics, technical proposals, and scientific findings.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Systems or Electrical Engineering with at least 10 years of experience, or a Master's Degree with 6 years of experience.
  • Familiarity with DoD systems, radar or communications integration, system modeling & simulation, along with strong communication skills.
  • This is a full-time role requiring a minimum DOD Top Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering, tethered airborne systems, C5ISR programs, and requirements management tools.
