Position Summary:

We are seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to facilitate the integration of airborne solutions with RADAR and ELINT payloads. This position entails overseeing projects, developing requirements, creating designs, ensuring quality control, and managing project documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Assume technical leadership for extensive and complex projects, coordinate and integrate tasks, and guide cross-functional product teams.
  • Requirements Engineering: Design, develop, and execute engineering methodologies, collect and evaluate reliability data, and establish technical specifications.
  • Design Engineering: Create engineering designs, engage in design evaluations, investigate sensor technologies, and spearhead the formulation of data architecture.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee requirements verification, conduct technical assessments, support production and testing phases, and develop prototypes.
  • Documentation Management: Lead the creation of intricate written materials, including engineering schematics, technical proposals, and scientific findings.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Systems or Electrical Engineering with at least 10 years of experience, or a Master's Degree with 6 years of experience.
  • Familiarity with DoD systems, radar or communications integrations, system modeling & simulation, along with exceptional communication skills.
  • This is a full-time role requiring a minimum DOD Top Secret clearance.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering, tethered airborne systems, C5ISR programs, and requirements management software.
