Role Overview:
As the Financial Operations Manager, you will oversee the preparation of financial statements, manage payroll account reconciliations, and supervise general system controls. Working closely with the Senior Assistant Director of Finance, you will maintain LJBTC, Inc.'s high service standards to ensure exceptional experiences for members and guests.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage month-end account closures and financial statement preparation
- Ensure accuracy in managerial reports and financial statements
- Reconcile payroll bank accounts on a monthly basis
- Review and improve internal control systems
- Assist in the development of new financial and analytical reports
- Collaborate with management to enhance guest and staff services
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices
Essential Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Business/Accounting or equivalent experience is required for this position. A minimum of five years in hospitality finance or accounting is preferred. Proficiency with Oracle Netsuite Financial ERP and Microsoft Excel is advantageous.
Desired Attributes:
We are looking for an individual with strong analytical and organizational skills, capable of problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role.
Working Hours:
This position operates in a seven-day, 24-hour business environment. Flexibility will be required to meet business needs as they arise.
