As a key member of our dietary services team, you will be responsible for handling phone calls, documenting requests, and coordinating information to support the patient menu process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls in a courteous manner and document requests in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Prioritize requests and dispatch them to the service delivery staff in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Monitor the progress of order deliveries and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding patient requests and safety issues, and provide updates on order status.
  • Train new employees on call center functions and provide quality customer service to patients and staff.
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with coworkers and supervisors, and adhere to food handling policies and procedures.
  • Perform duties as assigned and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Proficiency in English and excellent communication skills.
  • Prior food service experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing duties.
  • Physical ability to lift and push food carts, and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
