Position Overview

Note on Work Flexibility: The organization embraces a philosophy of 'work where you are most effective.' However, the Audit Team Leader should reside within a reasonable commuting distance to the designated office and client locations.

Role Summary:

In this role, you will report directly to Partners, Directors, and Senior Managers, serving as the primary liaison for clients while managing the daily operations of the Audit team. As the Audit Team Leader, you will guide a group of Associates and Senior Associates, providing mentorship, development, and training opportunities to ensure excellence in service delivery.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Oversee multiple client relationships and engagements
  • Conduct analysis and research on accounting and auditing issues, crafting effective solutions
  • Lead a team of Associates and Senior Associates, offering training, coaching, and mentorship
  • Engage in professional and community events and initiatives

Qualifications for Success:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting
  • Possession of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
  • Alignment with the organization's mission, emphasizing a commitment to client service excellence, accountability, collaboration, and ongoing education

  • Willingness to travel as necessary (minimal overnight travel required)
